Bordeaux chase Pavlyuchenko

This morning there are reports in France that Bordeaux are looking to make an offer for Roman Pavlyuchenko from Tottenham for a fee in the region of 9 million GBP. Roman had an impressive second half of the season with Spurs.

Pavlyuchenko had grown unhappy with life in London earlier in the season and had found his opportunities limited under Harry Redknapp initially.



With Bordeaux looking to replace the heavy loss of Chamakh signing for Arsenal, Pavlyuchenko has emerged as a primary candidate to fill the void.
