Sunderland are believed to be in initial discussions with Toulouse regarding a move for France under-21 defensive midfielder Eitenne Capoue. The Frenchman is very highly rated in Ligue 1.

Capoue is tipped to be a full France international in the coming seasons and after many impressive displays for Toulouse, several big clubs have been monitoring closely.



With Sunderland boss Steve Bruce looking to add some steel to his midfield, Capoue could be the ideal candidate for the role.



Capoue is valued by Toulouse at 5 million GBP.
