Sunderland boss Steve Bruce has reportedly told his scouts to prepare a full dossier on John Utaka and made him one of his transfer targets this summer.

Utaka can play on the wing or up front, and is one of the highest paid players at Portsmouth who are now desperate to get rid of him.



Utaka is also being chased by Fulham, but it seems Sunderland are in the driving seat as they prepare a 3.5 million GBP offer for the player.
