Arsenal have won the first Emirates Cup after defeating Inter Milan 2-1 at the Emirates. PSG had beaten Valencia earlier and Arsenal needed a victory to win the trophy.
Inter Milan had taken the lead through new signing from Cagliari, David Suazo; however Arsenal had looked the better side for much of the game and levelled through Hleb soon after. Towards the end of the game, Robin van Persie scored a superb goal to win the annual friendly tournament.
