Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger was pleased with their 1-0 away victory over Steaua Bucharest in the Champions League tonight. Robin van Persie's goal allowed the team to record their 9th consecutive win in a row.
Wenger said: "It was a question of intelligence and patience and we showed that. I am very pleased with result and the performance away from home.
"We had to make sure we weren't caught on the counter-attack, and we almost were once but they didn't take their chance and that was the turning point in the game.
"It says a lot about the resolve in the team, not only because we won but because of the focus we have. There is something special in this team and hopefully it will last."
