Arsene needs that famous faith

12 April 2011 - 10:08

'Arsene Knows'… or does he? With Arsenal fans showing plenty of faith in their French manager, despite the fact that he has failed to pick up a trophy in what must now feel like forever for Arsenal fans, the Arsenal faithful are slowly but surely starting to lose faith in a man who has asked for a lot more of them than any other Arsenal manager in recent history.

  • Arsenal make surprise decision on Viktor Gyokeres
  • Arsenal to battle Napoli to sign Alexsandro Ribeiro?

  • With the League Cup slipping through the club's grasp, and with the players on occasion not even able to play the sort of trademark sexy style that has in the past made up for the relative lack of success, the Arsenal fans are starting at last to see the club for what it is, a good outfit but one that needs an extra cash injection if it wishes to reach the next level and start matching immense potential with success.

If the fans finally start to abandon support for their manager and really begin to question whether he has the club's best interests at heart or whether he is now only pursuing a personal battle to prove that he is a man who can succeed in delivering the project that he has started at Arsenal of only spending a minimum amount of money on players and evolving the rest of his side, then maybe, just maybe, Arsenal's board will be forced to think about replacing a man who seems increasingly clueless as time goes by.

For this reason, Arsene simply needs fans to keep the faith more than ever, or else he may not only see his side fail to deliver the football he wants, but also find himself out of a job sooner rather than later.
