The agent of Nemanja Vidic, Silvano Martina, has denied reports that the Serbian centre back will be leaving Manchester United this summer, instead insisting he is committed to seeing out his contract at Old Trafford.
The agent said: "I talked to him about a hypothetical transfer and he replied, 'I am the captain of Manchester United, earning well, I've won almost everything ... why should I go to Italy right now, when Italian football is going through a turbulent period?'"
There had been rumours that AC Milan and Inter Milan were both interested in the player, who helped United to the Premiership title this season.
