Mahamadou Diarra to Arsenal?

Mahamadou Diarra to Arsenal?

22 June 2011 - 05:22

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger may make a shock move for former Real Madrid midfielder Mahamadou Diarra, after his contract with relegated club Monaco expired.

  • Arsenal join Chelsea in race to sign Monaco star
  • Confirmed Chelsea line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Man Utd, new injury for the Blues
  • Mahamadou Diarra has struggled to reproduce the form that made him a legend at Lyon, spending 5 years at Real Madrid and another year at Monaco.

The player is now looking to rekindle the glory days in the Premiership, and aged only 30 Arsene Wenger is prepared to give the Mali international a chance.

Arsene Wenger will offer the defensive midfielder a one year contract worth about 50,000 GBP a week.
