Wigan bid for Scott Sutter

Wigan boss Roberto Martinez is believed to have made an offer for Young Boys Bern left back Scott Sutter. Sutter, interestingly, has an English passport as his mother is originally from England.

Sutter spent his early years playing in England, with a short spell at Aston Villa at one point.



Wigan have made an offer around 1.5m GBP for the left back.



Sutter has since made two international appearances for his adopted homeland, Switzerland.
