Blackburn boss Steve Kean has reportedly told his scouts to watch Lecce midfielder Carlos Grossmüller in pre-season action.
The Uruguayan midfielder has been with Lecce since 2010 and last season impressed with some exciting displays from midfield.
The attacking midfielder spent 3 years in the Bundesliga with Schalke, and subsequently joined Lecce after a successful loan period with Uruguayan side Danubio.
It is understood Lecce may let the player leave for 2.5m GBP.
