22 year old Mexican international Carlos Vela is still very much a part of Arsene Wenger's Arsenal plans for next season, according to the player's agent.
Vela spent last season at West Brom but struggled for form; Wenger is now hoping to give the forward another chance with the Gunners this year and has no plan to let him leave just yet.
Eduardo Hernandez told ESPN: "I have had eight conversations with Arsenal and the most recent was last Friday, Carlos is an Arsenal player, he will stay at Arsenal and is not for sale.
"The process with Carlos is a little bit slow.
"Arsene Wenger is an extremely demanding coach, he sent him on loan for six months to West Bromnot with the results he wanted, but, nevertheless, everything is going very well."
