Mulumbu will stay at WBA

30 June 2011 - 01:01

West Brom boss Roy Hodgson is confident that Youssouf Mulumbu will stay at the club for 2011-12. Mulumbu had been linked with a move away to another Premiership rival.

  • Chelsea join Liverpool & Man Utd in race to sign 26yo
  • Barcelona identify Arsenal midfielder as key transfer target

  • "Youssouf Mulumbu has a long contract that has to be respected - and he has given no indication that he plans to break that commitment,” Hodgson said.

"Talk of a transfer is just fantasy at the moment. It will be difficult for anyone to take him.

"Mulumbu will not go, at least not for another year."
