Aston Villa boss Alex Mcleish is contemplating a move for Man City's out of favour defender Nedum Onuoha. The Nigerian born defender has been told by Roberto Mancini that he is free to leave the club.
Rumours suggest that an offer of £6m should be enough for Aston Villa to begin negotiations with the player himself.
Onuoha has found himself in and out of the first team at Man City, the club he supported as a youngster, but he is now prepared to leave the club as he has international ambitions for England.
Onuoha has 3 years remaining on his current contract.
