Wigan have completed the signing of Ali Al Habsi from Bolton, for a fee believed to be in the region of £4m. The Oman international spent last season on loan at Wigan and has now joined permanently.
Al-Habsi was named as Wigan's player of the year, and subsequently Roberto Martinez had made the keeper his number 1 target this summer.
The deal took three weeks to complete and Al-Habsi has signed a reported £35,000 per week contract at the JJB Stadium.
Al-Habsi will link up with his new team mates tomorrow for pre-season training.
