Mongongu keen on Blackburn

Blackburn are interested in signing Cedric Mongongu, and the player is delighted to hear of the interest from the Premiership club. Monaco were relegated from Ligue 1 last season, and Mongongu wants to leave the club.

Blackburn have been linked with a 3m GBP move for the player.



"I am hearing so many reports and claims about me through the papers, but I am still a Monaco player," said Mongongu.



"I have a contract until 2013. I am only 22 years old and I have a long future ahead of me.



"Blackburn would be a good opportunity, but staying with a very good club in France can also be fantastic."
