Liverpool co-owner Hicks has reportedly approached Alistair Mackintosh, the chief executive of Manchester City, in a move to replace and remove Parry.
Manchester City owner, Thaksin Shinawatra stated that new City boss Mark Hughes is an "outstanding manager". He also said that sacking Sven was "ruthless".
Mark Hughes signed a three-year deal worth £9M to become the new Manchester City boss.
