Croatia boss Slaven Bilic has rejected the opportunity to coach Fulham. The manager who helped knock England out of Euro 2008 was linked with the vacant post which became available in midweek when Lawrie Sanchez was fired.

It appears Mohammed al Fayed has decided there needs to be a fresh change of managerial duties into the new year, and the search for Fulham's new boss commences. Ray Lewington and Billy McKinlay are taking charge on a temporary basis.
