Fener refuse to sell Appiah

Fenerbahce have refused to release Stephen Appiah after he has requested a transfer. Arsenal are linked among Appiah's suitors and he was spotted at the Emirates on 2 occasions last season. Fenerbahce have claimed to have agreed a deal to keep the Ghanaian midfielder at the club, but these claims have been rejected by Appiah himself.
