Arsenal not after Appiah
Despite the persistent rumours, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has confirmed that the club will not be making a move for Ghana international midfielder Stephen Appiah.
It was believed that the Gunners had offered Appiah a £35,000 a week contract to sign on at the Emirates, but Wenger ruled out any potential move for the player.
Portsmouth and Bayern Munich are both understood to be leading the way to sign the international captain.
