Murcia get Fernando Baiano

Real Murcia have completed the signing of Fernando Baiano from Celta Vigo for £3.4m. This has meant the side have broken their transfer record to bring the Brazilian, who was also interesting Levante and Getafe.

Curro Torres will also be joining the club on a one year long loan deal from Valencia. The defender was in the 2002 World Cup squad and has been at Valencia since 1997, but is believed to have been told there was no place for him in the squad for the new season.
