Buyback option for Rossi

Man Utd have revealed that Giuseppe Rossi has a clause in his new Villarreal contract that states Man Utd have a buy back option on the young Italian striker.

Ferguson confirmed the news after Rossi completed his £6m 6-year contract at Villarreal. Rossi was eager to play first-team football and after a disappointing season on loan at Newcastle last season, Man Utd could not offer Rossi the first team football he deserved.

The buyback option will allow Man Utd the opportunity a chance to purchase the player in the future.
