Manchester United receive injury boost for Everton game
Manchester United have received a timely injury boost ahead of the Premier League clash against Everton on Saturday.
The Red Devils recently thrashed Southampton by a 9-0 scoreline and hence ended their two-match winless streak.
During that game, Edinson Cavani was substituted at the interval after suffering a blow to his ankle from Kayne Ramsay's challenge.
It was initially suggested that he could be doubtful for the Toffees encounter, but Solskjaer has now confirmed that he is fit and ready.
"Edinson should be available, yeah definitely. He got a bad ankle knock there [against Southampton]," he told the club's official website.
Cavani squandered two gilt-edged chances against Arsenal on January 30 as the game ended in a goalless draw.
He made amends with a strong first half display against the Saints where he found the back of the net with a powerful header.
The 34-year-old will be hoping to carry over the momentum on Sunday night when the Toffees make the trip to Old Trafford.
