Arsenal leading race to sign Belgian midfielder

Arsenal are one of the clubs leading the race to sign Belgian midfielder Amadou Onana from Everton this summer.
The north London giants are likely to sign a new holding midfielder during the off-season as Thomas Partey could head for the exit door.
Partey has had another injury-plagued campaign with the club and the hierarchy are ready to sell as he enters the final year of his deal.
Amidst this, Football Transfers claim that the Gunners are one of the favourites to land Onana from Sean Dyche's side later this year.
Onana has resisted a transfer away from the Toffees over the last 18 months, but he is expected to move on after another relegation battle.
Everton are also willing to sell him amid their financial issues. A fee between £50-60 million could be sufficient to prise him away.
Manchester United and Chelsea are also among admirers, but Arsenal should have an edge with Champions League football next term.
