Chelsea lining up move for Torino defender

Chelsea are reportedly keen on signing Torino defender Perr Schuurs during the January transfer window.
The Blues are currently 10th in the league standings and they have been defensively vulnerable for most of the campaign.
This could pave the way for further investment and it is claimed that they could swoop for Schuurs at the turn of the year.
The centre-back has been one of the best performers in Serie A since his move from Ajax. He is keen on moving to England soon.
Schuurs has also been on the radar of Liverpool and it remains to be seen whether the Merseyside outfit join the pursuit.
Torino are prepared to accept proposals in the region of €40m for the Dutchman when the transfer window reopens.
Chelsea are likely to sell someone before purchasing him and there is a possibility that Conor Gallagher could be sold.
The standing captain is valued at around £45 million. Tottenham Hotspur are said to be interested in landing his services.
