Man Utd ready to pay £44m to sign Bundesliga star

Manchester United are reportedly prepared to pay £44 million to sign Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jobe Bellingham during the winter transfer window.
The Red Devils are expected to make a new midfield addition in the New Year and they have already been linked with Carlos Baleba and Adam Wharton in recent weeks.
However, neither of those are expected to leave in the next window and United may have to pursue an alternative. Bellingham has now emerged as a top target for the club.
Bellingham signed for Dortmund from Sunderland for around £28 million last summer, but he has endured a tough time at the German outfit with just four starts in 12 games.
There is a possibility that Dortmund could sanction his early exit for a profit and reports claim that United are prepared to pay £44 million for the former Black Cats ace.
The 20-year-old is primarily a deep-playing midfielder, but he can operate as a defensive or attacking midfielder too. He would be a quality acquisition due to his versatility.
