Barcelona make formal move to sign Chelsea target Rayan

Barcelona have made an opening offer to sign Vasco da Gama winger Rayan amid interest from Chelsea, according to journalist Ekrem Konur.
The Catalan giants are on the look out for quality South American talents, and Rayan is currently one of the best young players in the country.
The 19-year-old primarily operates from the right wing or as a striker. He has registered 17 goals and one assist from 50 appearances this term.
The likes of Chelsea and Manchester United hold an interest in the teenager, but Barcelona have moved ahead with a formal transfer proposal.
Rayan has a release clause worth €40 million in his deal. Barcelona are prepared to pay between €25-30m to bring him to the Camp Nou.
The winger's contract with Vasco da Gama expires in December next year, and they are widely expected to sanction his sale in January.
Arsenal have also been credited with an interest in the Brazilian wonderkid but have yet to make any kind of move to land his signature.
