Liverpool serious about signing Antoine Semenyo

Liverpool are serious about signing Bournemouth winger Antoine Semenyo during the January transfer window, according to journalist Florian Plettenberg.
The Merseyside giants have had a dreadful defence of their Premier League title. They won their opening five games, but have since picked up three points from their next seven matches.
As a result, they are languishing 11 points behind league leaders Arsenal, and face an uphill task to make up ground on the north London giants for the rest of the campaign.
However, there is still plenty to play for. The Reds have the opportunity to secure silverware in the Champions League and FA Cup.
Meanwhile, they are only three points behind fourth-placed Aston Villa in the league and Champions League qualification is possible too.
This is a reason behind their pursuit of Semenyo. He has a release clause worth £65 million in January which the Reds are ready to pay.
They may seek to negotiate a long-term payment plan.
