Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has heaped praise on two players following the 4-1 Premier League win over Tottenham Hotspur at the Emirates Stadium.
The Gunners went six points clear at the top of the table after a convincing victory over their arch-rivals. Leandro Trossard opened the scoring after a lovely defence splitting pass from Mikel Merino.
Eberechi Eze stole the headlines thereafter with a wonderful hat-trick. Speaking after the game, Arteta said that Trossard and Merino were unbelievable.
He told Sky Sports: "Unbelievable. They have been so consistent as well and credit to them. They are able to play in different positions."
Merino started as the makeshift striker in Viktor Gyokeres' absence and he was brilliant with his hold-up and link-up play at different phases.
Trossard has been one of the best signings under manager Mikel Arteta. Aside from opening the scoring, he provided a brilliant assist for Eze's third goal.
Arsenal face London rivals Chelsea on the road in their next league game. Prior to that, they host Bayern Munich in the Champions League.
