Man Utd ready to sign Roma midfielder next year

Manchester United are weighing up a big-money move to sign Roma midfielder Manu Kone at the end of the campaign, according to Caught Offside.
The Red Devils are likely to bolster their midfield department next year as they seek upgrades on Casemiro and Manuel Ugarte in their ranks.
Casemiro's current deal expires at the end of June, and United are seemingly reluctant to trigger an extension clause due to his hefty weekly salary.
Ugarte, meanwhile, has underperformed since his move from Paris Saint-Germain and he could be shown the exit door when the season ends.
Kone has been identified as the perfect fit for the Red Devils and it is claimed that a summer deal could be agreed with the Giallorossi for him.
Roma want a package between €60-65m for the 24-year-old, given he is contracted until the summer of 2029. They won't provide a discount.
United have already established contact with the player's agents.
