Mikel Arteta explains Jurrien Timber & Riccardo Calafiori injuries

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has explained the injuries sustained by Jurrien Timber and Riccardo Calafiori following the 2-1 win over Brighton & Hove Albion in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
The Gunners reclaimed their top spot in the table after a hard-fought victory over the Seagulls. Speaking after the game, Arteta said that Timber missed the encounter after landing awkwardly in the previous match.
He added that Calafiori picked up a very strange injury yesterday and he had to be replaced from the starting XI as he was uncomfortable.
Arteta said: "Yes, because as well there are injuries with Jurrien, he landed awkwardly and there's something with Richy as well, very, very strange.
"It's something that he felt yesterday, it's something very awkward that happened and today in the warm-up, he wasn't comfortable."
Arsenal have been unconvincing in the final third over the last past few matches and they must improve to stay top in the title race.
They are two and three points ahead of Manchester City and Aston Villa respectively, and host the latter at the Emirates on Tuesday.
Prior to the clash, Arsenal have received a timely boost with Boubacar Kamara and Matty Cash suspended due to five yellow cards.
