Liverpool star out for 'few weeks' with muscle injury

Liverpool defender Jeremy Frimpong has been ruled out for a 'few weeks' with a muscle injury sustained against Qarabag in the Champions League.
The Dutchman has had an injury-plagued debut season with the Reds and he has suffered yet another setback.
Speaking in his press conference earlier today, manager Arne Slot said that Frimpong will be sidelined for a while.
He said via Liverpool's official website: "He is out for a few weeks but not as bad as we thought, so something positive from something not so positive."
The Reds have had a mixed campaign by their high standards, and they are currently sixth in the league table with just 36 points on the board.
The club are winless in the last five league matches, and they face another stern challenge when Newcastle United visit Anfield on Saturday night.
On paper, the Merseyside outfit are favourites to beat the Magpies, but they look set to face a massive test based on their recent league form.
Liverpool registered a confidence-boosting 6-0 win over Qarabag in the Champions League in midweek despite their struggles in the top-flight.
In Frimpong's absence, Curtis Jones is likely to start at right-back, given Joe Gomez and Conor Bradley are also out injured at the moment.
