'Team player': Michael Carrick praises Man Utd star after 2-0 win vs Tottenham

Manchester United manager Michael Carrick has heaped praise on midfielder Bruno Fernandes after the 2-0 Premier League win over Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils made it four wins on the bounce after a convincing victory over Spurs, who were down to 10 men in the opening half. Cristian Romero received a straight red card.
Speaking after the game, Carrick was quick to praise Fernandes, who capped off the performance with a vital and late second goal.
He said about the Portuguese: "He's a team player, he gives so much to the group.
"He's got big moments in him but we know the quality he has. He cares a lot for this football club and the team and that is clear to see."
With the victory, United remain fourth in the table with 44 points, one ahead of Chelsea and five in front of Liverpool, who have a game in hand against Manchester City.
The Red Devils take on West Ham United on the road on Tuesday night. They can temporarily move to third in the standings ahead of Aston Villa with a fifth straight win.
