Chelsea make Josh Acheampong transfer decision

Chelsea have a clear stance on the future of defender Josh Acheampong ahead of the summer transfer window, according to Football Transfers.
Acheampong is regarded as one of the best young graduates in the Blues academy and he has impressed for the first-team this campaign.
Despite this, his playing time has been limited in the last few weeks and manager Liam Rosenior has also left him out of matchday squads.
This has alerted some of Europe's elite clubs ahead of the summer, but the Blues are adamant that the versatile defender won't be heading out.
Chelsea also have no plans of loaning out the Englishman and they plan to keep him in their first-team ranks for the 2026/27 campaign.
The London giants are still expected to make changes to the squad. Manager Liam Rosenior will be backed with funds to add more quality.
He is expected to continue as the club's head coach next season even if they don't qualify for the Champions League with a top-five league finish.
