Man Utd send delegation to secure midfielder deal

Manchester United have reportedly sent a delegation to Atalanta to sort out an agreement for midfielder Ederson.

The Red Devils are expected to strengthen their midfield department this summer and have identified Ederson as a prime target.

The player has also given priority to the Mancunian giants and reports claim that he is reluctant to join any other club this summer.

United are currently discussing payment terms with the Serie A heavyweights and a deal worth £46m including add-ons could be sorted.

The Red Devils are planning to sign more than one midfielder and could also seek to land another marquee player with Premier League experience.

Sandro Tonali of Newcastle United has emerged as a top target and it has been claimed that negotiations are underway to recruit him as well.

Tonali was touted to join Arsenal at the start of the year, but the speculation was agent-driven rather than the Gunners making an offer for him.
