Arsenal set for big injury boost vs PSG for UCL final

Arsenal could be set for a timely injury boost ahead of the Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain in Hungary on Saturday.

The Gunners are underdogs against the reigning champions, but they will still go into the game with confidence after their Premier League glory.

Mikel Arteta will provide an injury update on Friday evening, but reports claim that Jurrien Timber could be involved in the matchday squad.

The Dutchman has been out since late March with a groin issue, but he could be deemed fit to return to full training before the long-awaited final.

Still, it does not appear likely that he will get the nod in the starting XI. Cristhian Mosquera has started regularly at right back in the last few weeks.

The Spaniard looks poised to continue in the starting line-up against PSG. Timber could come off the bench to face Les Parisiens if required.

Arsenal have received another boost with Noni Madueke avoiding an injury. He was substituted with a minor muscle issue at Crystal Palace.
