Joao Pedro makes Chelsea transfer decision after Barcelona interest

Chelsea forward Joao Pedro has a firm stance on his future amid interest from Barcelona this summer.

The Brazil international had a good debut Premier League season with the Blues, making 20 goal contributions.

His progress has caught the Blaugrana's eye in recent months, but Pedro is not pushing for a move elsewhere.

Despite the lack of Champions League football, Pedro is prepared to stay put with the Blues for another year at least.

He has reportedly informed the same to his entourage, which has probably contributed to Barcelona's change of targets.

The Blaugrana are pushing to sign Newcastle United's Anthony Gordon instead, and a deal could be sorted pretty soon. 

A formal bid in the region of 70 million euros has been placed on the table and he could make the switch this month itself.

While the transfer window does not open internally until later this summer, Barcelona can still negotiate advanced deals.

Bayern were also keen on the Englishman previously.
