Chelsea star determined to join Barcelona?

Chelsea defender Marc Cucurella has his sights on joining Barcelona during the upcoming summer transfer window, according to Spanish publication Mundo Deportivo.

The Spanish ace has been with the Blues for the past four seasons. During this time, he has developed into one of the best left-backs in the world.

Cucurella has voiced his concern over the club's transfer policy of signing under-23 players this year, and he is now looking for a new challenge.

Mundo Deportivo claim that Cucurella prefers a return to La Liga and he is prepared to give priority to a summer move to Barcelona this summer.

The 27-year-old is prepared to wait for the Blaugrana if they can provide assurances. Otherwise, he is open to pursuing another sporting project.

Atletico Madrid are another Spanish outfit keen on signing him, while Manchester City and Manchester United are keeping tabs on him too.

Chelsea are prepared to sell him for between £35m and £43m.
