Man Utd make transfer decision on Benjamin Sesko

Benjamin Sesko news

Sesko won't be sold by Man Utd

Manchester United have made a clear decision on Benjamin Sesko's future amid interest from Barcelona, according to Sport.

The Red Devils signed the Slovenian from RB Leipzig last summer and he had a decent debut season with 11 Premier League goals.

Sesko was particularly impressive in the back end of the campaign where he was superb in a 4-2-3-1 formation under manager Michael Carrick.

A recent report claimed that the Blaugrana could seek to land him this summer, but that appears highly unlikely to happen.

United are adamant that Sesko won't be sold for any price, and they are instead planning for the future with him leading the line.

The 23-year-old is valued highly by the hierarchy and there is the belief that he could become a 25-goal per season striker in the coming years.

Barcelona look poised to miss out on him. They may have to look elsewhere if they can't secure a deal for Atletico's Julian Alvarez.
