Bostock deal to rise to £2m
Bostock deal to rise to £2m

Crystal Palace chairman Simon Jordan failed to reveal the information that the transfer of John Bostock from his club to Tottenham could rise to as much as £2 million; after a tribunal ordered that the club should pay £700,000 only for the talented youngster.
âI feel mugged and brutalised, it is scandalous, and this sends a message to smaller clubs," he said after the hearing. "Why bother to bring players through if tribunals cannot reflect the work that has gone in?
âThe FA want to have the best national team, but if the best young talent sits in the reserves, what chance do we have? The transfer system is flawed.â
