Allen: Poyet is staying

Tottenham reserve team coach Clive Allen believes that Gus Poyet will be staying at the club,and that the Uruguayan was the obvious link due to his close links to Dennis Wise.

Poyet himself ruled out any move away from White Hart Lane earlier in the week.

Allen said: "(Poyet) is the natural link because of his friendship with Dennis Wise but Gus is very happy at the club and I can't see that anything is going to change at this moment in time."
