Chelsea will sign Dutch centre-back on Monday afternoon
Chelsea will wrap up a transfer to sign one of Europe's best young defenders in Jorrel Hato, as the 19-year-old has already agreed terms with the Premier League side and Ajax appear to have cleared the transfer deal today. It is understood Chelsea will pay around 40 million euros upfront, with a further 30 million euros over three years, based upon performance and appearances.
Chelsea's deal to sign RB Leipzig midfielder falls through
Chelsea's best efforts to sign Dutch midfielder Xavi Simons appear to have hit a snag, as German club RB Leipzig appear adamant to keep hold of the central midfielder. The Blues have had several bids for Simons rejected and have been unable to make headway in their chase to sign one of Europe's best young players, and it is understood that a deal will not be reached as RB Leipzig do not want any of the players offered by the Blues in part-exchange.
David Moller Wolfe to join Wolves
Wolves will agree a fee for Norway international left-back David Moller Wolfe from AZ Alkamaar next week, with the 23-year-old signing a long-term contract at Molineux. Wolfe is very highly rated in the Netherlands and several other teams were chasing his signature, but the Premier League side have apparently won the race and agreed a £8 million fee for the Bergen-born player, who has 12 caps for Norway to his name.
Chelsea forward to depart for Burnley early next week
Chelsea have agreed a £7.5 million fee for 23-year-old striker Armando Broja, as the Albania international will be allowed to leave Stamford Bridge for the newly promoted Premier League side. Broja has had two spells on loan at both Fulham and Everton, but failed to register a top flight goal during both of those periods and will now be allowed to leave the Blues for a new opportunity.
