Late Hammers down Man Utd

West Ham scored twice in five minutes to defeat Man Utd 2-1 at Upton Park. Cristiano Ronaldo had given United an early lead, and the Portuguese winger had an opportunity to double the lead from the penalty spot, but missed.

Preview: West Ham vs Spurs

West Ham versus Spurs always seems to be a bit of an epic, much like the 4-3 win Tottenham picked up last year. This time around, West Ham are the more settled side, and Spurs will face a tough trip to Upton Park in the 1:30 kick off. Dean Ashton and Scott Parker are both ready to return - could Juande Ramos pick up important derby points?

West Ham mauled the Premiership's bottom club Derby 5-0 today with goals from Bowyer (2), Etherington and Solano. It was a dreadful performance by Derby who already look destined for the Championship.

West Ham beat Black Cats

West Ham battled past a resilient Sunderland side 3-1 thanks to goals from Carlton Cole, an own goal by Craig Gordon and Craig Bellamy. Nolberto Solano made his debut and impressed for the Hammers, who ended their three match winless streak.

Newcastle defeat Hammers

Newcastle defeated West Ham with Mark Viduka scoring an excellent brace and Charles N'Zogbia also getting on the scoresheet. Dean Ashton's goal for West Ham was not enough for the London side to rescue some points. Michael Owen was also taken off as an injury precaution with a groin problem.
