FIFA are happy with South Africa's preparations for the 2010 World Cup. There were some concerns over stadium construction after many of the workers recently went on strike.

England's proposed bid for the 2018 World Cup comes into the limelight as the BBC plan to broadcast a Panorama programme investigating senior FIFA figures. The programme will investigate just how fair an opportunity England have of hosting the tournament. Panorama "are examining whether England can expect 'fair play' from FIFA".
