Italian forward Wilfried Gnonto has asked Leeds United to let him leave the club, as both Everton and West Ham step up their pursuit of the winger. Gnonto has not been available to play for the Elland Road outfit for the last two games, as he refused to take part in the club's Championship opening ties.
