Tottenham 2-3 Birmingham

A 93rd minute winute from ex-Arsenal midfielder Sebastian Larsson was enough to give Birmingham a vital three points over relegation battling Spurs. The victory was the perfect tonic for Alex McLeish on his first game in charge.
Birmingham were first on the scoresheet when Gary McSheffrey put the Blues ahead from the penalty spot after Younes Kaboul had brought him down
Robbie Keane appeared to have secured victory for Juande Ramos' men with a two-goal salvo in three second-half minutes, but Cameron Jerome fired an equaliser before Larsson struck late on to give Birmingham victory in Alex McLeish's first game in charge.
Keane then turned from hero to villain when he was harshly sent off for a lunging tackle on Fabrice Muamba in the 68th minute.
Larsson: we showed character
âIt was very disappointing as after five minutes in the second half we found ourselves 2-1 down,â said Larsson after the game.
âBut we showed some character to come back, and the manager made sure we believed we could.
âIt is the first one (goal) in the Premier League for me and it couldnât have been much better.
âIt is fresh start for us and we couldnât have asked for more to win at Tottenham.
âWe have struggled away from home and to come to Tottenham â they are much better than they are in the table â it will give us confidence we can do this more often.â
