Burnley miss out on James McArthur deal
Burnley have had a bid rejected for Wigan Athletic midfielder James McArthur. The player has three years remaining on his contract at the Championship side.
It is understood that Burnley's opening offer for the midfielder of 4 million pounds has already been rejected by the Latics.
The talented 26-year-old has been often linked with a transfer away from Wigan, but instead Burnley are now to look for a new midfielder elsewhere after missing out on the Scottish international.
