Chelsea target rules out Real Madrid exit
Real Madrid defender Alvaro Albeloa has dismissed talks of an exit from the Bernabeu.
The former Liverpool star had been heavily associated with a summer exit from Los Blancos, with Chelsea believed to be interested in his services.
However, the 31-year-old has now revealed that he will stay at the La Liga giants until the expiry of his contract, and is ready to fight for his place in the first-team.
"On 1st September [after the transfer window closed] many people had to hide [after the speculation] and those who in recent days say that in January I will go will probably have to lower their heads," He said.
"I have a two-year contract with this club and I could not be happier, I'm at the best club in the world."
Albeloa joined Real from Liverpool in the summer of 2009.
