Andy Caroll not keen on Newcastle United return
West Ham United striker Andy Carroll has revealed that he is unlikely to return to Newcastle United during the winter transfer window.
The England international made his name as a striker during his time with the Magpies.
However, Carroll failed to impress following his switch to Liverpool in January 2011, and was subsequently shipped off to West Ham United on loan the next campaign, before sealing a permanent transfer in the summer of 2013.
The 25-year-old had been recently linked with a return to the Tyneside outfit as he is yet to settle in London.
According to the Newcastle Chronicle, Carroll has rubbished the claims by insisting that he is eager to make an impact at West Ham United, who have stood by him during his injury crisis over the past two seasons.
Carroll has yet to feature for the Hammers this season due to an ankle problem.
