Hutton: 2 years needed for Eduardo

Tottenham defender Alan Hutton has said that it will take at least two years for Eduardo to return to the player he once was. Hutton suffered a similar injury in his time at Rangers when he broke the fibula and tibia in his right leg.

"It took me two seasons to get back to where I was," said Hutton. "With extremely hard work, I reckon it'll be the same for Eduardo.

"Seeing his break brought it all flooding back. I saw it on TV but couldn't keep watching. It'll take a long time but I'm sure he'll get back.

"It's going to be tough for Eduardo. There was definitely a point when I questioned if I was going to come back - but all the hard work paid off."
