New Valencia coach Salvador Gonzalez Marco 'Voro' has decided to bring back Santiago Canizares, Miguel Angulo and David Albelda back into the squad in preparation for Sunday's la Liga battle with Osasuna.

"The message that we need to get to the players is that the situation that we are in is real and make them see that they are capable of handling situations of such pressure," Voro said on Friday.

"I have spoken with all the players to know where they are and, from there, set out objectives. The first goal is the game on Sunday."

Canizares is expected to deputise for the unavailable Timo Hildebrand whilst David Albelda is set to be recalled straight away for a starting place.

Four successive league defeats on the spin for Valencia was enough for the board to see the back of Koeman, and now Valencia look forward to a new start under a new coach.
